Offering a variety of professional development opportunities to assist educators in improving student performance and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of instruction, the Florida Developmental Education Association’s region workshops are the premier professional development forum for all developmental educators in Florida. Since 1978, FDEA has prepared educators to better serve Florida students through the theory, delivery, and practice of developmental education, and through the design of programs to prepare effective developmental curricula.
