About The Event

The Florida Developmental Education Association’s Annual Conference is the premier professional development forum for all developmental educators in Florida. This conference offers you an opportunity to join your colleagues from across the state to explore innovative approaches that encourage, engage, and empower while offering opportunities for intensive learning and relaxed interactions.

Dr. Robin Ozz , President of the National Association of Developmental Education (NADE), is this year's keynote speaker. Dr. Ozz has been teaching developmental education 39 years, and she has given hundreds of keynote speeches and workshops across the country. She is currently the Faculty Director of Developmental Education and English faculty at Phoenix College. Dr. Ozz holds a M.Ed. in Writing/Secondary Education from ASU and is finishing her dissertation for her Ed.D. in Developmental Education at Grambling State University.
